Together we stand
The state of the world is such that one wonders how did we get here and what is the way out. Lots of arguments are made that we are in it together, that solidarity is needed, etc, etc. In a third party discussion everyone will readily agree on many broad principles and ways. But the actual happenings of life point to the ongoing pursuance of individualist goals and lifestyles as unfettered and essentially unavoidable, even as pain from common sources touches all of us. Large scale examples are the core international institutions, UN, WHO and even UNESCO, that have become an extension of the political, cultural and economic frictions and discontent between various entities. Another glaring example is the growing individual wealth gap manifested everywhere despite tons of evidence that this is both a sign of and a cause for deranged societal dynamics at national and international level.
So why is this not getting better ? Because we are not truly integrated, inside and outside. We cannot impose collectivity from the outside. As in the case of the international institutions, some principles and commitments will last for some time and then dissolve into divergent opinions and interests. We CAN though become integrated outside once we reach a state of inner integration and peace. Because the innate structure, qualities and positive powers of all human beings are the same. Collectivity is indeed our nature and it will manifest by itself when the cleansing power of the Kundalini and the light of the true Self fully awaken and activate it.
When that happens nobody needs to lecture anyone else that we are all in “this” together, whatever true and virtuous “this” is. We just know that for ourselves, automatically. And packed into the same Vishuddhi chakra we have the power to discriminate when goals and situations are not as some may want us to believe, which is paramount for not falling trap into a collective spirit for wrong ends. With progressive opening and empowering of our Vishuddhi we naturally feel part and parcel of the whole and the illusory external divisions - color, background of all sorts, social labels, etc, etc. - simply cease to exist and we fully enjoy the whole humanity within us and within everyone else. And that is an eternal joy that enlightens our every day and through us the lives of all the people around. So together we stand indeed - but only through each one’s collective awareness !
